Sicily Islands and Volcanoes Hiking Adventure 2026

VOLCANOES, PICTURESQUE SCENERY, VILLAGES AND ISLANDS

The Aeolian Islands, an archipelago of volcanic islands and small islets, rise dramatically from the Mediterranean off the north-eastern coast of Sicily. Inhabited since Paleolithic times, they have a rich historic heritage, and Vulcano and Stromboli are still active volcanoes. We stay on the two largest, most interesting and picturesque islands, which we explore on foot, and take a boat trip to Stromboli, Vulcano and Panarea. We visit the enchanting historic town of Taormina and reach the summit of Mt Etna.
